We will open and close our day in Mindfulness practice; and in-between come to our bodies with gentle Qi Gong, led by Maggie - our own gentle soul and movement explorer; and some breath work and relaxation practice with me. Everything can be done in a chair or tailored to meet where you are now, so let us know what you need.

Nourishing plant-based food and snacks, with comfy sofas and like minded people. Finishing our day together in a restful Yoga Nidra - a yogic sleep - promises a new relationship with ourselves, with each other and a refreshed return home.

THE TEAMRuth
Nia is an inclusive form of dance - combining many mindful movement practices with martial arts movements. It is also great fun and the music, drawing from cultures around the world, is inspiring and uplifting.
We offer this session as a chair based session but if your body wants to stand then anything goes - be free and feel it... Ruth brings her own special flavour to Nia and is a popular member of our teaching team on our retreats, wherever we are. KirstyFace Yoga is a fun and mindful practice - aimed at replenishing youth, elasticity and vibrancy to the tissue structure of the face.
We will approach with gentle fingers and light touch, exploring and connecting to this part of the the body perhaps in a different way to the way you have before. Kirsty has recently adopted this self care into her own practice and would love for you to try it too. KarenKaren will be our guide through a meditative Sound Bath. We lie down (or sit) with lots of cushions and blankets and open our senses.
Sound has been used by cultures throughout the world as a tool for healing and health. And Karen will create a safe, nourishing space for us to sense ourselves, to journey and explore our inner landscapes through the majestic vibrations od ancient instruments. |

The Space
Trossachs Tryst is a holistic retreat centre that sits on the skirts of Callander following the river; 20 minutes walk from the shores of Loch Venechar, in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
Surrounded by ancient woodland with views of Ben Ledi, the Lodge is the ideal place for walking and exploring the outdoors. Inside the centre, there is plenty of space to sit and relax, either by the fire in the communal living room or sitting at the beautiful wooden tables in the coffee area. Our food is fully plant-based and absolutely delicious! Special diets can usually be catered for. |
