A Restful and Restorative Day Retreat in Callander, in the beautiful surrounding of the Trossachs.
We will be wandering through our creative minds and bodies, welcoming the turn of the seasons and the time to go deeper: the time of the burning flame of the inner self. As the months darken, and the gift of slower living arrives for the winter months, we will embrace the liminality of this time of year - a time where the veils between us and our ancestors are at their thinnest - the Celtic theme of Samhain; with its links to the older feminine and the strength that the deep dark brings to us. Together we will open and close our day in Mindfulness practice; and in-between come to our bodies with a gentle somatic practice, led by our poetess Orla. There is space for a creative practice or perhaps the weather for a gentle ramble around the retreat itself, with some time to spend by ourselves in contemplation. Nourishing plant-based food and snacks, comfy sofas around a burning log fire, with like minded people will serve to feed body, mind and soul. Finishing our day together in a healing and restful Sound Bath, led by Karen, will mean our frequencies are aligned and our bodies balanced, for a refreshed return home. We offer this as an inclusive practice so you can bring whatever energies you are present with on the day - all things are optional. Timetable - ish10:30 - Welcome Cuppa and Mindfulness Practice
